Troubleshooting ideas

  1. If you encounter a problem while using Audiobit (any problem!) the first thing to do it restart the Audiobit app. To do that, press and hold the Back button of your phone, and when the list of the running apps appears, tap the X button  in the upper-right corner of the Audiobit image.
  2. If the problem persists after restarting the app, the next thing to try is to reboot the phone. To do that, press and hold the Power button on the side of your phone, until the prompt appears to slide down to power down the phone.
  3. If the problem still persists, one more thing to try is to reinstall the Audiobit app. To do that, go to the list of the apps on your phone, then press and hold Audiobit Music Player in the list. Then choose Uninstall from the menu. Finally, open Microsoft Store, search for Audiobit, and download it again.

If none of these steps help, please contact us for technical support. Please include your phone model number, the version of Windows that your phone has, and a detailed description of the problem (including the text of any error message displayed), and we will try to help.

  1. Hello, cannot see the folder option on the Home page after starting the app. This after updating the app. Otherwise the best player app ever!!! Any hints…?

  2. It was a great app, thank you, but since adding the premium features it’s not remembering the Show Album Art option between uses. I also now have to go Home to get to the Exit menu option.

  4. Sometimes I notice after pausing a track and clicking a new track from the list: The new track won’t play from the beginning but from the percentage the previous track was paused at. So you’re 20% into track 11 and hit pause and exit the app. Later you come back and the app remembers the pause in track 11 but tapping track 3 to hear it will cause it to start 20% into the song.

  5. Great app. Could you add Fast Forward and Fast Reverse, perhaps when you hold down the next or back buttons. Thanks

  6. Why, after a year am I asked to pay again for the premium version. Is this something built in to your app, or is it a Windows phone anomaly?

  7. @Warren: The price of the premium subscription is per year, so it must be renewed every year. Sorry about the confusion.

  8. Hi,
    Just downloaded the app … Looks good.

    Three things to make it perfect for me.

    1 The option to just play a single.track. (I do barn dances and don’t want the audio to automatically play next track).

    2 A volume control.

    3 Ability to rename folders.

    Some of these may already be possible within the app and I haven’t yet discovered them. Thanks for your patience and help. I am 72.

  9. I would like it to recognize my other storage and flac codec would be better as most of my music is in flac format and converting is a pain
